About the event
A special event to raise money on behalf of Service Amputees. Meet some of the Veterans.
A short presentation will be given describing the wonderful work of the Charity.
Recently veterans have returned from New Zealand having cycled the length of the country. This challenge (Operation R.I.D.E ) took place in November 2018 and was organised by the Pilgrim Bandits Charity.
The compaire for the evening will be Superintendent Mike Rogers of the Dorset Police and MC Clive Leonard of the Dorset Police Male Voice Choir.
As well as the Dorset Police Male Voice Choir, the concert will feature special guest star soloist from the West End, Mr Richard Knight. He is described as an operatic tenor who enjoys singing oratorio, other classical and church music.
His first love is however the stage, where he has performed a number of leading roles in the West End including the Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre, Haymarket and as Valjean In Les Miserables. At the concert Richard will sing much loved songs from the West End musicals and opera.
