At the time of writing it is just over a year since we last performed in concert.
As a choir we have kept in touch via weekly meetings which can, at times, include vocal techniques. During the last summer we were able to rehearse outdoors in small groups but this is not an option at this time of the year, even if we were not in lockdown.
Whilst the vaccination programme seems to be rolling out as planned, and a lot of the members have received their first “jab”, it is impossible to predict when we may next be able to put on a concert.
Whilst you may not be able to listen to us live you can still enjoy our music on where we have loaded several songs from a variety of concerts.
Stay safe everyone; we will meet again.
Choir committee February 2021
We are an inclusive choir, open to all men who have an interest in singing.
We value a willingness to learn and commitment to the choir over vocal ability.
Although many of us have had little previous experience of singing, we pride ourselves on the high quality of singing that we achieve with the guidance of our musical team.
Guidance Notes and Tips for Organisers
For some of you, this will be the first time that you have organised a concert.
It is hoped that the notes in the document we have provided in the link below will help smooth your way through the many things that you will need to consider and do to ensure that the event is a resounding success.
The notes in the document should be carefully read in conjunction with the choir’s Terms & Conditions and application form.
Concert dates are agreed on a first come first served basis.

Many of our concerts are for charity. We have helped raised in excess of £300,000 for good causes since our formation.
The Dorset Police Male Voice Choir is a registered charity. Did you know that you can support us at no cost to you ?
